Pork Kebabs in the Air Fryer

Juicy pork kebabs marinated in tomato juice with onions and spices, threaded with mushrooms and peppers and cooked in the air fryer. Served on lavash with fresh tomatoes, dill and onion, they bring real barbecue flavour to your kitchen in any weather.
What you'll need.
For the kebabs
- 1 kg (2 lb) pork
- 3 onions
- Meat seasoning
- Salt
- Tomato juice
- 1 bell pepper
- Champignons
For serving
- Lavash
- Fresh dill
- Tomatoes
- Fresh onion
How to make it.
- Cut the pork into chunks and mix with the sliced onions, meat seasoning, salt and tomato juice. Marinate for 1 hour.
- Chop the bell pepper and slice the mushrooms.
- Thread the meat, mushrooms and vegetables onto skewers that fit your air fryer.
- Air fry for 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F), then turn and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Serve on lavash with fresh tomatoes, dill and onion.
My tips.
Tomato juice tenderises the pork gently, so even a quick one-hour marinade makes a difference. Do not pack the skewers too tightly, the hot air needs to circulate around the meat.
Good to know.
Can I marinate overnight?
Yes, longer marinating makes the meat even more tender and flavourful.
What cut of pork is best?
Neck or shoulder with a little fat stays juiciest.
Can I use chicken?
Yes, chicken thighs work well, reduce the cooking time by a few minutes.
