Boneless Air Fryer Chicken Thighs

These boneless chicken thighs cook quickly yet stay juicy, with soy sauce, garlic and warm seasoning in every bite. A cool sour cream and pickle-brine sauce adds a bright, creamy finish, making this an easy weeknight dinner with very little washing up.
What you'll need.
For the chicken
- 700 g boneless chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp chicken seasoning
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
For the sauce
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp pickle brine
How to make it.
- Remove the bones from the chicken thighs if needed, then pat the meat dry.
- Mix the chicken with soy sauce, 2 minced garlic cloves, chicken seasoning and black pepper.
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F). Arrange the thighs in a single layer.
- Air fry for 15 minutes, turning halfway through, until browned and cooked through.
- Stir the sour cream with green onions, the remaining garlic and pickle brine, then serve beside the hot chicken.
My tips.
Pat the thighs dry and leave a little space around each piece for better browning. For a lighter variation, replace the sour cream with thick Greek yogurt.
Good to know.
Can I marinate the chicken ahead?
Yes. Keep it covered in the refrigerator for up to 12 hours, then air fry directly from chilled.
Can I use chicken breast?
You can, but reduce the cooking time and check early so the lean meat stays juicy.
What goes well with these thighs?
Serve them with roasted potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a crunchy cabbage salad.
