Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Air Fryer Bites

Ripe bananas, oats and chopped chocolate become soft, naturally sweet bites with crisp edges in the air fryer. This simple three-ingredient treat is easy to portion, gentle on the budget and lovely with coffee, tea or a spoonful of yogurt.
What you'll need.
- 2 ripe bananas
- 60 g rolled oats
- 40 g dark chocolate, finely chopped
How to make it.
- Mash the bananas in a bowl until mostly smooth.
- Stir in the oats and chopped chocolate until evenly combined.
- Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes so the oats soften.
- Shape into 8 small balls and flatten them slightly.
- Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes, until set and lightly browned.
My tips.
Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness and texture. Wet your hands lightly if the mixture feels sticky while shaping.
Good to know.
Can I use quick oats?
Yes. The bites will be a little softer but will hold together well.
Can I bake them in an oven?
Yes. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 18 minutes.
How should I store them?
Keep them refrigerated in a covered container for up to three days.
