Air Fryer Pork Neck with Potatoes and Mushrooms

Tender pork neck, golden potatoes, onions and mushrooms cook together with coriander and paprika for a deeply savoury air fryer dinner. Staggering the ingredients gives the potatoes a head start while the rich pork juices season the whole dish. Serve it warm.

Tender pork neck, golden potatoes, onions and mushrooms cook together with coriander and paprika for a deeply savoury air fryer dinner. Staggering the ingredients gives the potatoes a head start while the rich pork juices season the whole dish. Serve it warm.

What you'll need.

  • 700 g pork neck, cut into cubes
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 600 g potatoes, sliced
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 250 g button mushrooms, sliced

How to make it.

  1. Season the pork and onions with coriander, paprika, salt, pepper and olive oil.
  2. Toss the potatoes with cooking oil, salt and pepper and air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 12 minutes.
  3. Add the seasoned pork and sliced mushrooms to the potatoes and stir well.
  4. Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes.
  5. Stir again and cook for 10 minutes more, until the pork is tender and the potatoes are golden.

My tips.

Cut the pork and potatoes into similar bite-size pieces for even cooking. If the basket is small, cook in two batches to avoid steaming.

Good to know.

Can I season the pork ahead?
Yes. Refrigerate the seasoned pork for up to 12 hours.

Can I use another mushroom?
Cremini or oyster mushrooms are good substitutes.

How do I know the pork is ready?
The pieces should be browned outside and tender when cut.
